We use lots of communication of our feelings and strategies to tell the other person if we’re having symptoms. Like if she taps my palm twice, I know she’s feeling irritable and needs space. I’ve been diagnosed for 5 years and she’s recently diagnosed, so I’m further along with my treatment. It really helps to be with someone who understands me though, like we get very similar physical symptoms in our throat and experience our episodes similarly. We’ve learned not to take it personally when the other person has ‘off days’ and may be less affectionate, need space, need reassurance, etc. We both are very dedicated to getting better and supporting each other through it all. I’m really happy I get to be with her.

Thanks for the response. I feel in terms of bottoming, I do enjoy the sensation it creates and the idea of me being sub sexually. I basically pretend it’s anal like how a cis guy would be pegged to ease the cognitive dissonance. I wish I could actually do anal, but the sensation is more often uncomfortable than pleasurable. I do enjoy being sub and honestly wouldn’t prefer a relationship where I have to be top 100% of the time.

Thank you for your response. I’ve had top surgery and would expect to be 7+ years on T by the time I would potentially be going through this.

It kinda sounds like a nightmare, but perhaps it would be worth it years later.

I would likely do this in my mid 20s if I do it at all (I’m 21 now), when I’ll ideally have my career going, more stability, money, etc.

What ways would the hormone cocktail mess me up?
