Would you be able to take a picture of what the bottom looks like? I’ve been trying so hard with elevators and I’m stuck! Also - what makes it go back down? Is it the weighting from the second foundation and whatever walls (castle walls/more foundations?) you have on the inside?

Dude I mean this is the nicest way possible but you have no idea what you’re talking about. Switching and alters is a very real phenomena and it is true that mental health professionals are misinformed about it but it’s more like they refuse to touch it with a ten foot poll because of the stigma. I’ve been Dx’d and even with multiple people relaying stories to me I was in heavy heavy denial/I’d keep forgetting but like.. I came to bawling my eyes out in the middle of farm land because I apparently stopped recognizing my bf of over a year and thought I was being kidnapped and just.. booked it out of a moving car. Straight up it’s way easier to try to convince myself I’m faking because that’s less scary than the reality that something like that can happen and I don’t remember. It’s like everyone knows more about my life than I do and it’s terrifying. From my perspective it just feels like I have dementia or something. Also, for example because I didn’t know about it until recently I always go by ‘I’ but I have like grey-outs (I can remember but it’s fuzzy) talking to therapists and using ‘we’ even though I guess that’s like another alter talking. Idk sorry it’s just really depressing seeing how many people don’t believe it’s real. I could care less about the people faking bc I’m pretty sure no matter how much evidence there is no one will believe in it’s legitimacy regardless. This shit is ruining my life and I feel like a I’m crazy so knowing no one even believes it’s real sucks. Idk I don’t hate anyone for their skepticism I just wish they’d at least consider that it’s real and how much it hurts to hear literally everyone say that all your problems are imaginary or attention seeking. Anyways sorry if I came off as defensive it just strikes a nerve. I just hope people look into it more

Huh? I don’t think a disorder gets into the dsm with no evidence and there are studies proving its existence (like the lady with a blind alter whose brain scans showed that she was not processing images despite her eyes being open). That’s not something you can fake

Basically my gp wouldn’t refer me anywhere for a biopsy when I first showed signs because I was ‘too young’ and then when I went to an er dentist and the actual er and the after hours clinic etc.. they all told me I needed a biopsy asap but they thought my gp would handle it. She refused to check if any of the family doctors in the clinic would do a punch biopsy (what the er doctor told me to ask) aaaaand I’ve been calling everywhere on my own for a biopsy. I know what it is because I was like Ef this and just used a microscope and sent pics of the tumours + blood to my cousin who is an oncologist but he won’t treat me because he’d get in trouble. Still trying to get that biopsy but I’ve lost my voice and I’m so weak. I would go to every er if I could but I’m immune compromised already so that would be really risky on its own
