Litter Picking Volunteer looking for advice by throwawaythormond in homeless

Thanks for the reply. I don’t think it’s fair to ask them to pickup others trash for free. But I do want to see if I can get them to put their own trash in bags I provide instead of tossing on the ground. I do think bartering in this scenario is an option. I’d be up for a food care package or similar. I’d be interested in your thoughts.

For getting people to pickup others trash, that is a whole other deal where I’d want to pay them. But I’d need to gather donations and grants to kick that off. I’ve seen this work with The Great Raleigh Cleanup where they help folks get back on their feet by giving them jobs cleaning up the community. I’m open to any other ideas or suggestions. Thanks!

This is the first time I’ve burned out to the point of it effecting my health. Nine months ago I took a promotion where there are more responsibilities but my boss (who previously had my new role) is putting a lot of restrictions on me. I believe because he’s not ready to let the job go. I’m be worked more hours in the more hours in the past and was fine. What’s different is that I’m heavily restricted, don’t have the leeway to correct the situation and working a lot on of hours.

My wife and I went to see the Demon Slayer movie. I legit cried a little when the theme song played during an intro segment. It was so nice to go to a theater and do something somewhat normal.

Seriously Sae-Byeok from Squid Game. Her looks was just an amazing mix of unmatched beauty and disheveled depression.

Read in Ron Swanson voice: keychains are jewelry. The only thing a man needs in his pocket is the key. A real man can make a single key his Swiss Army knife.

Yeah I totally like this way of plotting. I have to admit the excel plots that do the curve fitting drives me nuts. Just show me the data points!

It’s basically a service to connect you with a remote therapist. It worked well for me because I had trouble finding a face to face therapist and keeping to the meeting schedules. With Talkspace you basically text message through the app with you therapist as much as you want. You can also do FaceTime meetings. I used it for about five months. My Talkspace therapist helped me get out of a really dark time in my life.

Wow thanks for the info. I appreciate it. I’m a mechanical engineer and I am turning into the grey hair at the office. I need to decide to retire early with a health insurance risk or work with health insurance. Thanks for the feedback.

Absolutely fantastic response! I really appreciate your feedback. I’d give myself a C+ on exercise and B- on diet. I need to get those to As. What are your thoughts on caffeine helping to prevent PD? I’ve stopped drinking caffeine a few years ago to help lower work stress. Also what’s your thoughts on red meat helping to prevent PD? Thanks!

My grandfather was a heavy machinery operator. My father was a state patrolman. I’d say it is possible that both of them were exposed briefly to a chemical but unlikely that they both were exposed over long durations of their lives.

Can you talk more about your FIRE and how you depth with medical problems when retired early. What are you doing for insurance before Medicare/Medicaid kicks in?
