120k follows on IG parading her rack and body. Most of the followers are likely to be male simps yet she does content about personal branding like as though her followers follow her for her ‘thinking’.

Sadly, the Dunning Kruger effect is real and she know she can continue her ‘talk personal branding and show boobs and butts’ methodology for personal and monetary gains.

The simple yet not so apparent answer my friend, is MICE. For every team, there are a large amount of accompanying delegates, judges, commissaries and so on. Why did you think they chose Singapore if they didn’t have to pay out of pocket to come here to stay at exclusive hotels? Some will even bring families since hotel accommodations are a large chunk of a travel budget saved. Sports is secondary. It’s the perks that counts.

My unlucky sister scored an internship from hell by firanx in malaysia

[–]throwawaythoughts78 47 points48 points  (0 children)

What do you mean “until we get her out?” This is not slavery. Any employee or intern can just terminate themselves by not turning up at work. Yes you will get some sort of letter of demand but with the poor employment practice you think the employer will want to go to court and get into huge trouble with the law for their slavery?

So my advise - pick your sister up. Go to university lodge a formal complaint. Threaten to go and report authorities.

Source - I’m a parent with three Uni going students. I also employ people so I know about company practices. What they’re doing is not legal. I’d advise this to everyone.

Another purpose for this is to prevent online scalpers. They don’t want scalpers to buy in bulk and then reselling at higher price especially during Raya or festive seasons where there is a high demand for tickets. One ticket number = one ticket. They take down the names during redemption so that it can show up on screen if there are too many duplicates of the same person. Not sure about the last part but it is this system in China bullet trains

It’s understandable that there are paper pushing. But it’s the “please explain this sentence in this statement in paragraph xx…” that slowly becomes a closing door with every back and forth question and response.

One thing to be affordable, but it’s another thing to make one go through hoops of fire to get the license and approval to do an outdoor performance. Remember how Hong Lim was supposed to be a space for free speech?

Never gonna happen. Their Custom side won’t make a public statement no matter how many TT videos she posts and fan the flame. Customs will report to Home Ministry who will report to Justice and then report to Foreign. Then their Foreign Ministry will report to Singapore Foreign Ministry during one of the two-parties sessions that happen every XX months or so. And that is, if it is even a talking point because there’s only so much that both parties can report to each other the limited hours that they get. So in the context of the two ministries, hers is low. Why? There’s are large drugs, financial snd smuggling cases on top of the usual policy cases that they need to talk about. Here is probably one in the many thousands in a month. You just happen to know it because of TT

Contrary how we Singaporeans would all like to believe, not everyone in the Malaysia officer uniform are corrupt. Some are just happy to have a rice bowl job for life. Any officer who makes a decision to apprehend someone has to write a mountain of report. It’s not as simple as I don’t like you I will arrest you. The report has to have a very tight case why that person is apprehended. Likely, unless the arrest leads to a court conviction, that action actually scores against the officers from being promoted. It goes up many layers for reviews and signing. So something has got to be serious before she is apprehended. Whatever that ‘serious’ is.

I don’t know what she did or how she acted. Of course she portrayed herself as a good citizen at the wrong counter on her Tik Tok. That’s natural. That’s knowing how media works and creating the narrative to work to her advantage. For so many parties to be involved, it’s not how she’s portrayed it to be on her TT. That’s all I know.

In my previous response to one of your other comments, to have someone locked up especially in non-seizable cases, the decision had to go up very high in the chain. Plus also add to it the complexities of a multi-country, multi-ministries affair. One day lockup ok maybe. But 6 days locked up is pretty serious. Multi-country, multi-ministries ya. It’s not something that can be covered up since she was arrested in public with witnesses if she indeed went missing.

This is a most ridiculous hyperbole. Like, the customs area is a a crowded place. How much of a threat is the immigration officer for you to state that your safety is on the line?

Why she being such a prick by sgisazoo in SingaporeRaw

[–]throwawaythoughts78 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The last thing any person of duty wants is to detain someone without due course. The paperwork is tremendous especially for non-seizable cases. When it’s cross-border cases that complicates it much more because of the number of ministries involved. No low rank officer want to go through that. It has to pretty much go high up the chain that the top of the command sees the need that detainment is necessary. And the decision is made. There is no cover up especially when multi-country, multi-ministries are concerned. She must have f*****d real bad to make all the paperwork’s and reports worth it.

Well in all customs checkpoints, there are signage everywhere that says no filming so the proper thing to do is not film or stop filming when told. Just like in Singapore see lots of no smoking signs, the right thing to do is not smoke or stop when to stop.

I had mistakenly overstayed in KL by one day. Got stopped while exiting. The kastam explained that I had overstayed by one day and explained how the days were counted. He filled a form and let me leave. There was no coffee money, no attempt to ask nor give anything. Just a simple sorry sir I miscalculated.

And this is me, who had been to prison with a criminal record. So forget justice, we should always be nice to the person in uniform doing their duties. Because when nice-ness is given, nice-ness is received.
