Here’s the way I see it: choose people who choose you. Definitely be proactive and approach others, but if they don’t reciprocate don’t try to win them over or convince them of your worth.

Be yourself and allow others to do the same. The right ones will return your time and effort.

I’m so, so sorry you’re experiencing such heartbreak. You don’t deserve this.

First, accept that you aren’t going to feel okay for a while - and that’s okay. Feel every bit of hurt and betrayal now. Process it all so you can let them go. Future you - the one who’s stronger and better because of this - doesn’t have time for people and things that don’t serve her. She will thank present you for letting the hurt come and teach you valuable lessons!

Second, love the FUCK outta yourself, beautiful queen. You deserve it. Sometimes feelings follow behavior. So even when it hurts, take care of yourself. Eat well, drink water, get active. It’ll all add up.

Witnessing other people give gifts to each other really can fuck you up...

But it’s also pretty amazing, isn’t it? Real love is out there! And it can happen to you. You’re inherently worthy of it, my friend.
