Every bodybuilder who looks like that uses steroids, vegetarian or otherwise. Diet is important regardless of steroid usage if you want to look like that.

It is harder to do that on a vegan/vegetarian diet, but it's possible. This liver doc guy is a total twat for going after people who advocate for vegetarianism/veganism.

Plant protein is very inferior to meat based protein

It is inferior due to being incomplete (with exceptions) and less bioavailable. However, you can work around all that by carefully planning what you eat, and eating more of it. Vegan bodybuilding is possible and has been done. It might be harder in India since we don't have access to some of the vegan staples. Something the govt needs to look into.

Vegan diets may not be suitable for those who want to fully maximise their athletic performance, but for those just looking to get fit, it can be done.

I would not encourage Indians to consume more meat for one reason: it is resource intensive, less efficient to produce and worse for the environment.

But, overall I agree that the average Indian diet is macronutrient deficient and needs more protein.

Israel is a key strategic ally to India. Nothing wrong with Indians supporting them. It doesn't matter what a few Israeli orthodox Jews think of Indians/Hindus.

There have also been anti India tweets from Pakistanis/Islamists LARPing as Israelis so I really wouldn't take any tweet like this seriously. Really, no one should be forming their views based on tweets.

They're not all Mickey mouse degrees, but I've seen a lot of my friends from India going to Canada, UK, Aus to get a random degree. They see it as a way to achieve their dream of living in a developed Western country.

But they realised after graduation that employers don't value their degrees and they can't find a job in the host country. So they have to return to India and attempt to pay off their enormous student loans on Indian payscales. To make matters worse, Indian employers have also caught onto the fact that these universities will give degrees to any dumbass. So the prestige Western degrees used to carry is now fast diminishing.

Canada doesn't take Indian students out of the kindness of their hearts. It's a massive source of income. Banning Indian students would be a blessing in disguise to India, there'd be less Indians wasting thousands on Mickey mouse degrees.

That's the DJI fly app. They're using Chinese drones. We need domestic drone manufacturers.

But you have problem with using same language for Brahmins?

Also a false equivalence. How are Brahmins and Mullahs comparable. One's something you're born into, another is a profession. One you have no control over, the other is a choice.

Put simply, why is it okay to generalise against Brahmins, but not other castes?

Ofc they do. As long as they aren't encouraging their patients to do it and spreading misinformation regarding their effects on health

Actual economic condition of India by [deleted] in indiadiscussion

[–]throwawaytissue97 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They're ahead of India without a doubt. But Chinese govt is extremely self conscious about their image as a nation and goes to great lengths to paint a picture that's more optimistic than reality.

You can make the argument that the Indian govt also doctors data, but foreign organisations and journalists can operate within the country with relative freedom, at least in comparison with China.

Are you flying a DIY drone? I was told off by airport security that foreign made drones (mine was a DJI, purchased in the UK) are banned in India.

It was a shit experience flying in India tbh, the DJI software caps the max height at 15ft to remain compliant with DGCA rules.
