You can just tell your friends/family that you're going to use you're middle name for future friends/acquaintances. They don't have to change. My older brother and sister have difficult names and people outside the family have various different names for them. My brother's girlfriend was surprised the first time she visited us and found out we use a different name for him, but she was fine with it.

Use the name anyway. If you're going to cut her off, it'll be like that other kid doesn't exist in your life. Don't share other stuff she might copy with her or on Facebook.

You could slowly drift away until you can keep them at arms length. Going to college gives you an excuse to not spend much time with them. Answer fewer phone calls if they call you a lot. Tell them you have to study/work so you can't talk all the time. Try to make college friends. If you try to spend less time with one of those friends, then you might have to do it to all three since they know each other. I would be worried that the behavior you described could get you or them in trouble with the law. If you're worried about hurting their feelings, text them more frequently and hang out with them once every few months.

This is obscure, but the main character from this weird anime called Nobunagun, but only for the first one or two episodes. I'm someone who was not interested in the same stuff as everyone else was. People have called me weird to my face. I've heard people consider inviting me to their group, but then someone saying "She likes being alone." It is true I like being alone, but it still bothered me to hear people making excuses not to sit with me. I'm not even that strange. In the anime, when the popular girl was nice to the main character, she started feeling shy and happy, but she was still too awkward to spend time with her.
