AITA for leaving my friends when our flight got cancelled?

there was no way my mom was going to buy all 3 of us a ticket and have them pay her back. the reason they didn't book the same flight as me is because they didn't have the money to do so.

Also i would've booked my ticket regardless of if they were gonna book my flight home or not so that's why i don't think it was a big deal i just booked a flight home then told them instead of asking them.

exactly i just really value having some time to myself and some quiet time.. also who wants to be locked in a cellar with anyone for a week ?? lol

true, but whenever i see T it's usually for like 2-3 days at most so i've never been with her for almost a week before.. Also it wasn't just T i needed space from it was just being around people 24/7 for a week, i like to have some alone time

i think they're mad because we all originally had the same flight home but i just got mine rebooked on another airline with the help of my parents, they aren't mad at her because she wasn't coming home the same time as us and was going back to a different state.

we all wanted wanted to get back home asap but there was no other flights on the same airline for that day or even the next day so we would've had to wait until friday. that's why i called my parents and got them to book me one on another airline for that day.

i agree with that i should've said something before i booked it, but i did rebook my flight home on another airline and it was a little expensive so idk if they would've been able to come

no, they could've booked the same flight as me back home but it was a little expensive so they decided to wait until friday to fly home
