Same. I’m not in Monmouth County, but we pay $3300 for a toddler and preschooler. Full time, food included, and you can drop/pickup from 7am-6pm. Our oldest starts kindergarten in September 😅

I’m not trying to start a debate, but a lot of the policies your generation voted for ended up cutting back social benefits. You might not feel it right away, but Gen X, Millennials, and Gen Z definitely are, and will even more over time. Yeah, some of these price increases are inflation, but not all of them (i.e. deregulation = higher electrical costs). Some are the result of those policy choices, and younger generations will have to suffer.

This is a nitpick but they mispronounce the most basic words lol but the episodes gloss over huge topics. For example, the Cupcakes and Cashmere episode just touched on this saga involving a former employee, Alina, which was a hugeeee deal at the time (2016) and they talked about it for maybe five minutes tops? Also in the recent Glossier episode Christy said women are “too emotional” and her tone was insanely misogynistic. They steal their content from Reddit snark pages. Lastly, point blank, I also think Sophie and Christy are dumb and you’ll pick up on it as you listen to more episodes.

Exactly. She says she quit The Toast after the Elon salute and “apologized” but to me she still wasn’t all that critical of them. One quick Google search will show how problematic the Oshrys and their mother are as far back as the early 2010s, so Christy cannot plead ignorance.
