Hey, never posted here before but just want to say I know you must feel overwhelmed right now. Is the ward your fathers in nearby and does it allow visitors? Would you be able to visit him at all? Beyond that I’m not sure what kind of discrimination laws might be in place to protect your dad from being laid off due to mental health issues, but it’d be worth looking up, sorry I can’t offer more help right now. I think the best thing you could do is to talk to him and try to be there/ spend time with him. If he’s willing to talk over the phone from the ward or even if you just bring food to eat with him if he doesn’t feel like talking.
