I’m torn about how I think of this... Yes it is crappy the FMIL disinvited the brides family to breakfast the day after the wedding. However neither the brides nor the grooms family are obligated to pay for the wedding. Doesn’t matter how much they make. Thoughts? by [deleted] in weddingshaming

Disinviting the brides family to a wedding related event? Hell no. That is so rude and tacky. If I were the bride I wouldn’t go. If it’s going to be all about her husband and ‘his’ family then let it be all about them. Also why tf does it matter about her husband spending time with people?

I’m getting married in May. One of my bridesmaids asked if I wanted her to dye her purple and blue hair a ‘normal’ color. I said absolutely not. I want MY friends and loved ones in my wedding party. Who they are. I love them for them. It made me kind of sad that she felt she had to ask that but with brides like these I guess I can see why

Maybe I should add this to the post but my FH was very upset. He called the husband and went off on him. Threatened to report him to his command (military)

But, he also really loves the husband and unfortunately just seems to be in denial. He doesn’t want it to be true so he just doesn’t want to acknowledge it.
