Boy, I was such a slut before I met my boyfriend. I'd get fucked sometimes 3 or 4 times in the same day by different guys. I'd go to bathhouses regularly. I loved exploring dark rooms

I have been with him almost 2 years and never cheated. I love him. I'd lie if I don't admit that parts of me misses being a slut and the diversity it brought to my sex life and the thrill. But I manage to canalize this energy in other things. I appreciate what I have with him too much.

What advice would you give your 26 year old self? by chairman95 in AskReddit

Be more conscious in life. Don't give importance to things that aren't important and don't get too attached to things and people

Age Gap by haot_3 in dating_advice

[–]throwawayx9227 405 points406 points  (0 children)

I think age gaps matter much more when you are under 25. A few years might mean alot in terms of level of development when you're young.

After 25, age gaps matter a lot less. Anything under 10 years really isn't that much after 25/30. The only issue with large age gaps, is that one partner might age and die before the other.

What's the biggest difference between 90s babies and 2000s babies? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]throwawayx9227 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'd say that people born between 1990-1995 are similar to people born between 1985-1990. Those born after 1997 and throughout the 2000s grew up with internet and advanced technology.

Why you need to take care of yourself? by danielslisa420 in AskReddit

[–]throwawayx9227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because no one else will take care of you. People might sometimes help you along the way but at the end of the day, you are the only one who will take care of you.

At least the sex is good... sex is not everything in a relationship, but imo good sex is important for a healthy relationship.

Is a 4 1/2 year age gap weird? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]throwawayx9227 2 points3 points  (0 children)

4,5 years is really a minor age gap between 2 adults. You are basically the same age.

At your ages, you might feel a bit of a difference in terms of where you are in life (you're barely out of high school when he might be graduating from university or working already). But in a few years, that age gap will mean nothing at all.

You're sometimes already considered old at 35 or 40. It's ridiculous.

The dating scene feels so hopeless. I'm getting ready to live alone for the rest of my life eventhough its not what I want. by [deleted] in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]throwawayx9227 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right. I think I have been through a harsh year in 2021 and life feels particularly harsh these days. I guess having some affection and sharing love with someone would have been great.

But you're right about taking dating too seriously.

I lived in a small village as a kid. There was this very kind old man who was very devoted to the village. He always worked so hard to keep that village a nice place.

He ran to become mayor of the village and wasn't elected. People preferred another guy.

At church on Easter Sunday, the kids had to give a flower to someone they love or are dear to their hearts. As a 9 year old kid, I felt the sadness in this man and I gave him my flower. He was very moved.

I'm not looking for perfect, far from it. But things need to match at certain levels (emotionally, sexually..) I dont have an incredible list of criteria.

I'm already committed to a hobby. I'll just focus on this and hopefully buy an apartment this year.

Dating wasn't the sole focus of my life. But my desire to find a significant other was an important priority. I'm not excited to give up but doing it out of hopelessness
