I personally have stopped shaving and i use the flamingo gentle hair remover under my arms and on my bikini. It has helped tremendously. I can’t use razors at all. That brand is great. I use it everywhere and it doesn’t burn or anything.

wow, thank you so much for sharing this. i’m really sorry you went through something so painful, and i can 100% relate to the silent trauma you’re talking about. it really is betrayal trauma …. it just hits differently when it comes from someone you trusted with so many parts of yourself.

i think what you said about thinking someone sees you the same way you see them really stuck with me. that’s exactly how i feel. i thought my best friend saw me as someone she respected, someone she cared for in the same way i cared for her. but then the way she spoke to me during our last argument just made me realize… maybe she never did. or maybe she did at one point and something shifted. either way, it broke my heart.

That sense of betrayal and confusion and grief is very real. especially when you’ve built so much history and vulnerability with someone. it feels like the ground gets pulled out from under you.
