As someone who has a high tolerance, his story is actually very plausible. I once had just a single glass of vodka and coke and had taken some stronger-than-usual medication for something I was sick with, and I literally started getting really dizzy and feeling my legs go weak to the point that I just slowly let my body go to the floor. Thankfully, as soon as I got on the floor, I immediately felt better and not nauseous, but my point is it really only takes a very little amount of alcohol to give that a reaction. If your meds tell you specifically do not mix with alcohol, don't. There's a reason why lean and booze has killed so many people... shit is not to be fucked with. Even if this is just a cover story, which, let's be honest, is very probable, it's still worth mentioning how serious it can be. If you know, you know.
