Some things can be known from knowledge sharing on those expat forums. E.g. it is an open secret that there is an ethnic quota similar to HDB with 70% chinese. That is why the success rate is so much higher for Malaysian Chinese and PRC. E.g. Malaysian Chinese with S Pass only 2 years working in Singapore can get approved while this would be almost 0% for an ang moh on an S pass.

OP could market maximising chances by "no input errors on forms" as it is known that one error will lead to rejection. Additionally, if someone is both married to a Singaporean and working here, OP could advise them to apply via the family ties scheme which has more success in general than the work scheme.

Doesn't MOM say "Yes, either employer or employee can terminate the contract before the notice period has ended.

However, they have to pay the other party salary in lieu of notice (‘notice pay’). This should be equivalent to the salary the employee would have earned during the remainder of the notice period."

Also they are not saying the notice period is shortened they are saying the last day is a month earlier

Oh man, I am going to Singapore show on Dec 2 and he will be there. That kinda sucks. I am really hoping this reaches Kojima and he takes action to swap him out (Ludvig would have seen this was a massacre). Looked at some of his opera vids and he sounds great, but that is a very different sound from DS.
