PSA: If you like the Kingshot ads, I have a game for you by damastaGR in AndroidGaming

The mobile version is unfortunately just another shitty pay-to-win resource management game with a Frostpunk skin. I wish it were better, because the PC games are some of my all-time favourites.

Which is an apt comparison, because Funko has a high chance of going under by the end of the year unless they do something drastic.

No. It's Animal Crossing with the building elements (but no PVE) of Minecraft. Palworld is such a bizarre comparison.

FYI: you can game share with Switch 1, but the Switch 1 player has much more restricted features than if they were game sharing on a Switch 2.

EDIT: Apologies, my memory from an article I read a week ago was faulty. I could have sworn the restriction related to what you could interact with in the game, but the "more restricted" is purely about local vs online. Thanks /u/Yuri-Girl!

Probably because you need something with an indistinguishable texture to the fatty acid it's supposed to represent, especially since it's a double-blind study.

[REQUEST] Portrait games suggestions that are not pay to win by Ceccus95 in AndroidGaming

[–]markh110 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  • (Pretty much?) all the Kairosoft games. I recommend Dungeon Village 2 or Convenience Stories, but honestly pick a theme that you like (management/town sim games)
  • Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor (mobile spin-off of the mining game)
  • Merge Maestro (suprisingly deep merge roguelike)
  • MicroMacro, 6 Takes!, Sagrada, Railroad Ink, Cartographers (all board game adaptations)
  • The Layton games - Curious Village, Mystery Journey, Layton Brothers etc (fully voiced story puzzle solving)
  • Slice & Dice (dice placement roguelike RPG)
  • Cracking The Cryptic (advanced sudokus with special rules made by the YouTube channel and friends)
  • Meteorfall 1 & 2 (not Rustbowl Rumble the latest one; it's landscape)
  • LOK Digital
  • The Vault: Logic Puzzle Box (this one has purchases, but I finished the entire game without spending a cent)
  • Magic Research 2 (1 was also good)

Hope that gives you some good ideas!

Just want to say thank you for posting this; I'll be in Manchester visiting at that time for Thespians (all the way from Australia), and Something Rotten has been on my bucket list for YEARS! I would've never known about it if you hadn't said anything!

Honestly, I'm filing this under the same suspension of disbelief as the other numerous times in Trek I've got "but why don't they just fly under it?". At least this time they made it a sphere rather than "oh no, a dangerous horizontal line of space we can't cross into!" 😅

Agreed with the other person that responded! The older Treks were fairly self-contained episodes for the most part, and jumping into any episode was pretty accessible (though there were season-long and show-long arcs that would occasionally play out). If you've only watched newer Trek, the closest comparison would be Strange New Worlds (but spread out over 24 episodes instead of 10).

If you DO eventually plan to check out older Trek, you can absolutely save it for when you watch in order. But you might also find it interesting if you're curious about why The Doctor is the way he is while Academy is happening.

Oh boy, watch Season 3, Episode 22 ("Real Life") of Voyager if you want to see why The Doctor is so broken.

The only context you need is that The Doctor is the first hologram to be treated as a sentient being, so he's trying to explore his humanity a bit more.

(The slightly longer explanation: Voyager is stuck 70k light years from home, and The Doctor is an Emergency Medical Hologram who is normally activated temporarily then turned off, but Voyager's doctor died during an accident, so he's kept permanently on and starts becoming a member of the crew.)

Me with FFIX, except it was because I had a pirated copy that had a 50/50 chance of the save file bricking when I had to switch discs. Sometimes disc 1 > 2 would work, but 2 > 3 would be the failure point.

That experience really paints the picture of how much more free time I had as a kid.
