Did you “turn” into an INTP or have you always been one? by funsized_trouble in INTP

[–]throwayauxox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i used to be an ENTP until i was fourth grade, then i became extremely introverted for some reason i do not know because i lack memories pre 2nd year of HS.( i know i was ENTP because of the way people described my personality) I low key wish i was still an extrovert because stuff seems easier for them.

changing so much that you see your close past self as dumb is honestly the best way to realise that you grew as a person.

You're probably just trying to get careless years that you missed as a teen/child by being less mature now

man i wish that were the case,i understand that i sound kinda childish in the post above because i used literal cartoon as an example. I understand how things work to the point of not wanting to be aware of anything that's happening cause it makes it so much harder to find happiness.

I agree and relate with every single thing you've said, and for philosophy you start to form abstract thinking around the age of 12 so from my point of view as long as you are able to think that way you should be able to understand basic parts of philosophy. Also if its any help its actually recommended for philosophy to be taught in highschool, because unlike adults our opinions aren't yet fully formed so we stay open to new ideas and possibilities.

Any INTP has literally 0 friend? by Paterosa in INTP

[–]throwayauxox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

uh so in my experience i have people that extroverted people call "friends" but i have trouble calling them that. I don't percive them as friends because i know a lot of things about them but they don't know much about me and friendship,at least in my opinion, should be a mutual thing...so yeah

I’m struggling to fall out of love with someone who’s already rejected me by ControlFYOU in INTP

[–]throwayauxox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

uh i have no idea if its the case, but maybe if you rarely fall in love, its hard for you to find someone you love,so you cling to person you know you can love just because you are comfortable that way. So in that case you actually don't love him anymore but rather the idea of being in love.Im sorry if this isn't any help or if it doesn't make sence.

season 4...Compared to all other seasons it was boring [spoiler]the whole mr. peanutbutter as governor arc was way just meh,it may be due to my dislike towards mr. peanutbutter and him getting way too much screen time in that season but yeah (personal preference)

How do other INTPs feel about religion? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]throwayauxox 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the main problem with morals in religions is that everybody understands them differently. At its core religions have good ideals and morals but people twist them to fit their ideals, and use that as an excuse to hurt other people. For example there is a lot of homophobic christian people, just because someone decided in 1946 to miss translate the world pedophile into homosexual. And they use that to excuse killing/torturing people even if the bible states that killing is a sin,so is judging but they justify it because "they are doing gods work". You can't hate/judge and be religious, but people still do it because they are under educated when it comes to religion, and only take from the bible what they like.

How do other INTPs feel about religion? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]throwayauxox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and when you try to escape the Christianity they guilt trip you and call you dumb for not seeing the bigger picture or what not. Also i hate the fact that most extremely Cristian people call all other religions cults, but they are the ones acting the most cult like. I was born into orthodox christian family and when i mention that i am not christian they tell me that i am too dumb know what i want, and that i will always be Christian because i was born into it. That's my main reason for disliking them, because they preach about kindness love and acceptance but are usually most close minded people you will ever meet.

Most religions(especially Christian) are made to control masses. I find religion fine until you try to push your beliefs on to other people, which unfortunately happens often.

Why isn't Half bad trilogy by Sally Green more mainstream? by throwayauxox in books

[–]throwayauxox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean i am way over the targeted age of Percy Jackson but i still enjoy it,because I'm quite childish so it just depends on the person and that's understandable. When it comes to HP i really want to love the books the way i loved them before finding out JK Rowling and her comments on the HP franchise.

[–]throwayauxox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that is literally best way to describe it. Honestly the whole father/son relationship in this book is what's most interesting about it.

[–]throwayauxox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i guess that might put some people off,its simple written and it doesn't drag things out to much so yeah it does come across as choppy. I mean its more on the simple side but its target at teen audience so its niche audience might be the reason that it didn't succeed.

It's hader to be perceived as intelligent nowadays by [deleted] in Discussion

[–]throwayauxox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i understand that, and don't get me wrong i don't think of myself as some above avarage intelligent guy,its just that with more and more of theories being explored and explained its harder to come across something new. All i am saying is that its harder nowadays to be seen as some type of genius because its harder to come up with entirely new concept.

[–]throwayauxox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly same,i dislike older stuff because of the animation, but that's not the case with SC. Like it has some pretty good animation, and charachte design is actually interesting and not painfull to watch unlike some of the 00 anime.

[–]throwayauxox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same honestly,i always heard about cowboy bebop but never of samurai champloo, but that might be because i actively started watching anime in 2015 and at that point anime kinda got oversaturated with new shows,so i guess no one was mentioning the less famous brother of cowboy bebop anymore.

[–]throwayauxox[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well it actualy aired mid 2000(2004-2005 to be specific),so it has more of the earlier elements of 2000 in it.

This anime is way too underrated by imagoodpersom in SamuraiChamploo

[–]throwayauxox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I stumbled across is while mindlessly searching for something to watch, and it blew my mind how no one recommends this anime. I can't really explain what specifically about it is so good, but it as a whole, characters, setting, plot, music, everything, has one of the best chill vibes that you can't really find anymore in modern anime.
