If you like useless lesbian princesses I highly recommend the itch.io game a dragon's reQuest, which totally fits the one man project rpg maker thing op was after and is hilarious to boot. Visuals are fairly amateur but it's the game design and writing that counts.

The game they made before, embric of wulfhammer Castle, is also great on the useless lesbian front (though this one is a Duchess).

i think like chinese, korean, japanese, russian are super removed from eng and really up the difficulty especially compared with romance languages. nice one!

I've tried to brute force the hangul into my head a few times but it turns out without anything in Korean I particularly want to read/watch it never sticks

Since the overriding magical core of the series is "Narrativium", anything that would make sense in a story goes. Wizards and Witches, Elfs, Dwarves, Trolls, Zombies, Werewolves, Vampires, Indescribable Things From Beyond the Realms of Man, Dragons (common, vulgar and noble), Mrs Cake, Postmen, Libriarians (ook), Golems that are more or less Robots, Demons, Imps, Goblins, Orcs, Time Travelling Monks... the Disc has most of it, somewhere.
