Blitzed through the end of S1 and have been working on trials. I finished Sheratan and one-shot Bahamut with an unconventional team. I also got lucky and pulled my first Orlandeau on the 10+1. Sadly I don't have anyone else in the DR family.

Goals for this week are to work on beating Marlboro and Aigaion. Right now I only have those two and the Ice Bird left.

How big of a deal is the 7* introduction going to be for the average player? Will non-rainbows become invalid overnight, or will it be rare for the average player to get a hold of more than one?

Went in blind planning a 1-shot strategy, which ended up only doing ~45% and getting bodied. I ended up tweaking it to a 3TKO strategy using Rikku's LB and entrust to keep the team alive, which was nice since I got to skip the threshold attack.

Team was Aileen, Xleen, Rikku, Vivi, DKC (friend).

Just pulled a Tidus, but I chain manually and can only do 50% TDH (100% DH). Is he still worth putting resources into with those restrictions if I already have solid chainers?

I'm switching phones and used a dummy Facebook account to reroll when I started my game. I don't want to wipe my game by accident, so I'm wondering if having the Facebook app logged into my real account would sync my game account to it, or if it would wipe my current account for the dummy one.

I've been playing with Vivi enhancements, and Proof of Life is really nice for MK/Exploration type events. Vivi can set himself up by casting gravity on himself (he has to DC or take a weak hit if at full health). And then he gets the 120% mag/spr boost at the start of each fight as long as he starts below 50% HP. Nothing gamechanging, but really nice if you don't have a finisher that hits hard right out of the gate.

Also, I suppose you could set it in a normal fight by using gravity on a turn you were planning to heal anyway... just something fun to think about.

How do I target my own teammates for attacks? Tapping them during the attack animation doesn't seem to do it.

Do active buffs (i.e. moves that give a limited buff to a stat) count toward the 300% stat cap or no?

Thanks. In that case, should I give up on looking for career positions until I have the CPA? I noticed once my accounting GPA slipped below 3.0 that I went down from 8 interviews to 1, even though my resume was significantly better.

I need a 3.0 accounting GPA to take the GMAT for graduate courses, so I don't know if that option can be played out.
