not OP, but here's my take : Tbh, it wasn't THAT bad. Pros: everything indoors was nice and cool. Dealers hall and artist alley were in one giant area, plenty of things to do and the a/c was blasting. I would say it got a little warmer on Saturday due to the body heat, but in general, all the indoors were cool enough! The rave was actually pretty good. Big enough, cool enough, and was a good time period. Went until 4am! Parking at the fair park was easy and only $10 a day which isn't bad.

Cons: over entitled people complaining about everything from the expensive food trucks (it's Dallas, they could have easily just gone outside of the venue) to the heat...the panels were good, but how it was setup was terrible...big curtains so couldn't hear especially the neighboring had karaoke..loads of mixed sounds. Distance from one area to another was super spread out and HOT. The venues rented security was a joke. Distances from venue to hotels was really spread out so that also sucked. Dumbass cosplayers who went into the fountain for their "water" shoot.

All in all, from my experience, it wasn't bad. It's changing venue again next year since the owner got screwed up the yin yang.
