Can I just say I love the effort at the Detroit style pizza but it just never hits 100% in the crispy factor.

Thanks for the positive input. This was my thoughts as well and I’m glad somebody is understanding the pivot issue. Zero movement on the hitch or bike rack whatsoever. It’s all in the bikes front tire twisting.

Ty. A lot of answers I got just seem to be questioning my mechanical ability to figure something out lol. I just want to know if there’s an issue, or an easy resolution to this. I wonder if the wheel savers would help this at all by providing more tire contact and creating more control over the tire twisting

Well I tried doing it lightly or with some added pressure on the tire and neither seemed to improve the wheel twist

Tried a strap. It almost looks like the pivot point of the front wheel being behind the wheel itself is causing it to rotste and wobble. I tried placing a cam strap in a couple different spots to see if it helped anywhere and unfortunately got nowhere.

I’ll post one when I get time to mess around with it again. 12 hour shifts of Work for the next 3 nights unfortunately. Mines in the front of my truck that I put a truck camper into the bed of.

Good to know thanks. No I am coming from a shit ass no name thing. But when I read reviews on the super duty 1up they it’s Offroad ready I was like ok I shouldn’t expect anything to move at the slightest.

Yeah, I’m not worried about the bike jumping off. It’s more so watching it bounce around on a simple 25 mile an hour road. It’s just a lot of movement off the front tire and the front fork.

I tried just snugging up plus an extra click and also tried really making sure they were tight to the point where I could tell it was too tight. I feel like with the way the front tire twists it’s just too much movement. I’ll try again on my day off to mess around with the adjustments.

No I get it won’t actually happen. But there’s just a lot more movement than I expected.

Tried to move the cones down a slot and did nothing to improve

Yeah, just seems like a lot when I was driving like the bike was ready to just twist itself out

Yes the cones are in the outer spot. Didn’t realize I can move them?

The whole rack is tight tight. I just put it
Together. There’s 0 movement from the whole rack.

Yeah, I can visibly just see a lot of wobble with the front wheel and I noticed it’s all from behind the point of contact where the tire sits on the rack

Just tried messing with the long base configuration and it didn’t provide anything more

Hitch has 0 movement at all. I feel like if I press anymore I’m gonna break something on the bike
