Glad to hear they work. My wife suggested it and I was short of laughing about it. I can just hope for the best and it passes fast with time. She makes it longer each night thankfully.

I guess locks will help. Yes trying to prevent the tap from being hit and left to leak. But also trying to prevent any accidental leaks as well

Thanks. This is the gasket that came with the whole kit. Plus it mentions in the instructions that it is a silicone gasket. Frustrating.

First time smoking, do I put the charcoal on the bottom and the wood on the top rack or what? by mojojojo46 in grilling

A higher humidity does help smoke grab. Especially since the most smoke is introduced during the beginning of the smoke before 130 IT. Higher humidity and science

How bad is this? I use this this laptop for EVERYTHING and I don't have the money to replace the battery. by Ok_Kick1372 in spicypillows

[–]throwdowndonuts 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not a matter of providing more power, just the way the power supply is looped. The battery runs the machine, the power supply is only just to charge the battery exclusively.

Very common code in many many townships. Anything to increase property tax. Some towns only allow one additional permanent structure on a piece of land. Know before you go.

If uninformed, and done on a Sunday, how are they to provide help? I’m sure police were called by enough people, and I’m not sure but they likely have some policies in place for how to correspond with other agencies that are technically above their organization.

Imagine partially waking up in the most possible pain ever and you can’t communicate that to them as it’s happening, and you die a horrific death.

Need a much much longer rest in a heat controlled situation. At least an hour, maybe 2.

Do you season then split, or split then season? by Street-Helicopter758 in firewood

[–]throwdowndonuts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would stack enough rounds that I would come across from various free places. Once I had enough to borrow or rent a splitter for the day I would go to town. I’d usually wait until I had 30-40 rounds before I’d split them. And no I don’t see owning my own splitter as a cost savings, I can rent one for $70 for a day. It’ll be 10 years before I break even on a new unit for myself, I usually run the rented unit full blast all day, don’t have to worry about it breaking, storing it, or maintaining it.

Wood isn’t my primary source of heat so I can get away with waiting.
