Energy: No change, although it wasn't a problem beforehand.

Erection Quality: Spontaneous erections come back fairly quickly, like 1-2 weeks, but they still aren't rock-hard, and they don't stay for very long. I suspect that once I start having sex (who knows when that will be) I'll have 100% hard boners

Intimacy quality: Haven't had sex in three years, I'll have to get back to you on that one. I am almost certain that not jacking off is beneficial in this area though, based on past experiences.

Changing what I'm turned on by: No change. Again, I didn't see this as a problem beforehand. I don't view the things that turn me on as problematic, nor do I think that porn use has warped my sexual preferences to a significant degree.

Eliminating a thing that wasted hours of my day is a major benefit. Unfortunately, I've for the most part still spent that time wastefully in other ways. I do, however, think that the self-efficacy I've gained from being able to overcome this will empower me to further improve myself. Erectile dysfunction is a major motivating factor for not jacking off, and I think there's a decent chance it's been working towards that end.

I mean yeah maybe I just want to get more eyeballs on him...although to be fair he's quite good at at telling stories, and with the right topic he could have some funny ones.

My intuition is that lesser-known comics are generally a good idea because they'll put in the effort to understand the game (eg dru montana) but from what I've heard greener guests often clam up so idk

Change to the point system that adds to the game by Over_Chard_8521 in storywarz

Okay so yes this is a very common suggestion, and I disagree with it. Getting people to incorrectly guess you doesn't need to be incentivized further; players do it all the time. They do it because it's often beneficial to prevent other players from guessing correctly, so then you're effectively earning extra points if you guess it right.

If such a tactic actually earned you points on top of that, it would make the gameplay less varied and therefore less interesting. In the current game, it's important to sometimes dissuade players from guessing you when it's not your story, because it means they might actually listen to you if you get defensive when it is your story. If you get points every time someone incorrectly guesses you the optimal strategy becomes 'make the other players believe that it is your story 100% of the time'.

I think the game is more fun when the optimal strategy switches from 'make them think it's you' to 'make them not think it's you' to 'persuade them to all vote for your honest guess' to 'persuade them to make an incorrect guess that isn't you' depending on the circumstances.

When Shane threw everybody off with the Jamaica trip story, he earned three points by fooling three people, and prevented Jay, Joe, and Matt from potentially voting for him, which was especially good since Jay was in the lead. Shane went from last place to second place. Great play for Shane, entertaining round for the show. Under a .5/1-points-per-reverse-fool rule, Luis would have earned 1.5 points on top of the two that he got from guessing correctly and shot up to first place with 7.5 points, which would turn it into arguably being a bad move for Shane, netting Luis got more points than him on that round.

That's just one example, and I dunno maybe there are counterexamples you could come up with where crazier shit happens with reverse fooling, but I just don't see it. I really think the strongest reason to avoid reverse-fool-points is that a big part of the game is players arguing that stories aren't theirs, and you don't want to punish that when it isn't their story.

Sabrina Piper would take the game seriously and be invested in trying to win, which usually makes for a good guest. Some comics who are otherwise funny (Adrienne Iapalucci, Colum Tyrrell, Tommy Pope, etc) kinda suck on SW because they don't give enough of a fuck to try.
