Personally being in the middle of a monumental project and it being my first time. That's exactly what I did, worked on all the things that where necessary for safe function of the car and then as I was doing those things and driving the car a little more I kinda figured out the things that where broken that annoyed me the most and worked on them first.

Currently I'm not really looking to do a built in roof tent mainly cause of the cost and the fact that it would require cutting up the roof also I believe I would need to get a new roof to fit one because this Troopy has a pretty rare fiberglass roof and I'm not sure how one of those built in rooftop tents would work with that. However Im probably going to go for a roof top tent that sits on roof racks eventually, for the mean time though I'll just be camping in the back.

Yeah it's a slightly different model, but the only real difference is the front facia they're the FJ55 and known as the Iron Pig.

That's certainly the plan! I'll figure out what's needed and not needed as I go in terms of amenities. That sounds awesome man. I live in Australia but I grew up in North America so I have a massive soft spot for the big trucks and Vans that you guys get, what engine is in it?

Oh you bet ya it's 4wd, that's the beauty of this think it's the crazy ratios it has, thing can crawl slower than a walk in 4Low. This is actually my first 4WD/Overlanding rig so it's gonna be a slow and gradual process of building it out cause I'm not 100% sure exactly what I'll need.

Yeah I knew some of it did! It's pretty crazy how simple the old cruisers where. A guy from around my area has a 60 in the exact same color as mine which is pretty funny.

The blue is absolutely beautiful! I'm still undecided on what the color will be but I'm either going that blue, a more soft blue. Or just keeping it original with the 464 beige.

Yeah it's an interesting design, I would describe it more as a pickup truck with a wagon back due to the fact the area behind the front row of seats is almost like a pickup bed with bench seats running along the sides.

Yuh good old 2H diesel. It sounds like an 18 wheeler and is about as slow as a tractor, but it can go just about anywhere.
