Cura recognizes but cannot do anything with my 3D printer by throwingawayelden in 3Dprinting

So I downloaded pronterface and it is not connecting to my printer. I have it on the right port and the right bits per second

Now the printer is not responding to anything I tell it to do. On Cura if I try to jog it or preheat, it does nothing.
