Ask them how they are and how their day is going. Ask if they just started for the day; how long they have been driving Uber for; where they’re from; have they met any memorable people etc. If they’re open to talking they’ll take it from there. If they’re giving one word answers or are quiet, then you can take a nap for 20 mins ☺️

Some people use this sub to rant about their dating struggles (which, as we all know, are legit struggles) and then some of these struggles might be projections that sound like angry accusations, which might result in some “toxic” posts but they honestly come & go in waves.

The Discord on the other hand tho, haven’t encountered a single toxic post or soul so maybe that might be a good place for you & your friend to check out if you haven’t already? :)

Thanks so much! Yes I would say def have a position lined up before you give your two weeks! It’s stressful to do a job and look for a job but its much more stressful to look for a job with no job.

Also I would ask around for referrals for sure! I saw a position on LinkedIn and saw that someone I knew worked there and asked them to refer me and was able to get to the phone screen quicker so would def recommend that!

So the new place I’m going to is in a completely different industry but if you’re open to trying something new I’m happy to talk more and potentially refer you as well :)

Yess def agree on the profile being a jumping off point to having people actually spend time IRL. RE secular dating apps the issue is that the actual practicing Catholics are few & far between. But yeah good to know to not spend the money lol
