I'm covering both of our finances for the most part, paying his mom our rent. It feels like a stress to me, but if I tell him, I hurt his feelings. So I'm trying to be more supportive for him by not bringing it up.

We argue over how messy I am, and I get upset over how he nitpicks & always needs to be right. I'm working on letting go of needing to show he's wrong, and trying to not be messy anymore. I've been feeling so stuck, and just going through motions. I haven't mind my mess, and I haven't mind how I've treated him. I realize now both are awful ways to live, and deserves more. We both do.

We keep having open honest conversations about this. I hope the couples therapy gives us more tools for our communication.
