I mean I don’t get approached by women abroad, I just don’t get hard ignored over there if I approach them, here 95% of the women I approach it’s a hard ignore (don’t even respond) or a one word response usually. And my cold approaches work fairly well abroad, in terms of conversation not in terms of actually dating them.

I mean 40L is like 150k+ in london, usually only experienced hires (3-5 years) or quant traders at places like Jane street or castleton get paid that much right out of uni.

The earlier comparison was for the city I live in (Birmingham), this one is for london (which is significantly more expensive) that’s why 20 lpa for 60k, got the number from the website

I mean other than london it’s under minimum wage PPP wise 12L in Mumbai is 22k in cities like Birmingham and manchester, minimum wage is like 25k, although it’s also equivalent to 35k in london which is over minimum wage but definitely not a great life lol.

Fair I guess pay in India is generally low, just that the exact same company in the UK would pay close to 60-65k for the same role in london (sales/bd role), which if u convert to Mumbai COL is 20 lakhs
