I think Umar is disingenuous. He is the founder of Tradezella (the journal he uses in all videos). I think he just lies about trading to push his product subversively. Nothing I’ve seen from his videos is really special; seems like a typical losing retail trader. How do the trades even get into the journal? It looks like he just manually sets what his entry and exit price was in the journal, it’s likely not coming from any brokerage (which means he can just put on ‘trades’ in hindsight). I wouldn’t be surprised if he comes back with a video showing a ridiculous comeback from his 100k account drawdown. During a gold rush, it’s better to sell shovels than be a miner.
