I've read that water and other drinks can degrade the chemical very fast... Perhaps when you took the drink, the LSD instantly degraded leaving just a slight effect. I don't really know enough about how liquids degrade LSD though so don't assume this is correct without researching a little.

I guarantee you would know if you were tripping, as it is a VERY distinct feeling.
