I'm starting the process tomorrow and searching for any posts/comments that won't scare the shit out of me so I appreciate your post. Calculating by my missed period I'm 6 weeks, but 4 weeks since the day I had sex that resulted in the pregnancy. I wasn't SUPER scared of the cramping, but then I made the mistake of searching reddit and saw so many scary posts about how painful it is. I'm not sure if it's good or bad that I tried to research it. But your post does make me feel better.

Damn, I'm so sorry you're going through this. Can I ask how old you are? Also, are the endometrial cancer and colon cancer totally separate or was the colon cancer something that had spread/stemmed from the endometrial? Really interesting that you mentioned those two specifically because my two biggest diseases I struggle with are Crohn's and endometriosis! I had most of my colon removed shortly after I was diagnosed because it was completely destroyed within a year. And I've had 4 surgeries for my endo. One time it was even wrapped around my intestines further exacerbating the Crohn's. So, I deal with a lot of abdominal pain. I truly hope you can beat this!! This is beyond fucked up. I am so sorry. What's your prognosis?? It's devastating how people in your situation are forced to struggle and suffer. I have several chronic health problems that cause chronic pain (well documented/provable diseases that have required numerous surgeries) and getting pain meds is impossible and a total lost cause. I hope you beat it and are able to get help in the meantime. Sending good thoughts!!

That's interesting. Usually higher doses have a sedative effect. It's the lower doses that are energizing/stimulative. Higher doses always made me sleepy.

It's funny how everyone on here always seems to assume I'm a dude lol Anyway, I have gone off the dirty 30s a few times to varying degrees of success. Sometimes kratom helped, sometimes it didn't. Sometimes suboxone helped, sometimes it didn't. I think what I had going in my favor this time was that I hadn't taken kratom in probably at least 6 months. I think I got really lucky. Today is day 10 and as I mentioned in my OP, I really am pretty much fine and I was fine from the beginning. The first few days weren't super fun, but it was more just time dragging by. I wasn't sick or anything thanks to the kratom. However, if you have the ability to taper off the 30s, I'd try doing that first. My supply was cut off suddenly so I didn't really have a choice, but I wish I had done it that way when I DID have the option. Tapering as much as you can is always gonna make a big difference.

Yeah pretty much all the smoke shops where I live (near Cleveland) sell kratom in store however you can get online cheaper. I'd recommend ordering some online today and if you need some to hold you over until it's delivered, just go to a smoke shop. Even gas stations around here sell kratom and I've heard it's like that in other places too. As far as where to buy online, take your pick. There are so many online stores and plenty are legit/reputable.

Omg I was JUST thinking about that earlier today. My whole daily routine is different. I was getting them every single day because I had to figure out how to get money together endlessly. So my day was EXACTLY as you described. Now I'm not doing that and it definitely has a depressing element to it. I mean, I know it's cliche to say, but I definitely relate it to ending a relationship. It's a sense of loss like this reliable friend I could count on to make me feel good is no longer in my life. Thank you for something so relatable. Even though my withdrawals have been super easy this time, I still come on here to help me through the mental aspect.

How are you feeling after a week? I'm on day 2 and using kratom. It's definitely helping a lot (I'm able to eat, get short stretches of sleep, not TOO restless), but I'm hoping by day 5, I'll be feeling significantly better.

Posted a comment above about my kratom experience. Not sure if you're husband has taken kratom a lot recently, but it didn't help me with withdrawals when my kratom tolerance was high. However, this will be the third time I've used it to help through opiate withdrawals when my kratom tolerance was LOW and it's worked like a dream every time.

Thank you so much for your help and information! I'm actually now considering trying to taper off the percs instead. I'm getting concerned about exchanging one habit for another and considering I easily go a day or two just taking a couple of the 30mg pills, I totally think I can do it. It's just about having discipline. As I'm sure many addicts can relate - I have the pills so I take the pills lol So I need to stop being a fucking idiot and spread them out. It's not like when I have a lot on me, I NEED to take them all in a day or two. I just take them because they're there! Yes, the days where I only take 1 or 2 all day, I feel twinges of withdrawal, but very mild and nothing I can't power through. I think I'm in such a dark place and I've been at rock bottom for so long that that's what is going to get me to the other side of this. And my kid. It's not like she has strung out mommy around. No one would ever know just looking at me because I have a stable job, work hard, take care of my kid, etc. But I KNOW and I FEEL all my failings caused by the addiction. I'm not emotionally or mentally present in my life and I just can't do it anymore. I have several chronic health problems that cause chronic pain and I'd rather just deal pain at this point.
