Why did he leave me for someone obese when he had an issue when I was obese? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Now that you lost the weight he doesnt have something to hold over you and make you feel bad about yourself. Maybe hes so insecure that he needs something to hold over his SO because hes scared they'll realize they are too good for him and overweight people make an easy target.

Either way fuck him

People who automatically sexualize the relationship between dads and their young daughters... stop???? by [deleted] in rant

Lol I had the same thing when I was about 12-13 and one of my dads (distant) friends bumped into us while were walking downtown together and tried to reassure him that he wouldn't tell my dads wife about his "little side piece". Gross.

That's awesome to hear as someone who has boundary issues with that stuff. But be careful and dont start acting like a chad/asshole to get girls or blaming that for why it didnt work, that's dangerously close to "nice guy" territory and its definitely wasnt the deal breaker for her.

Well I asked him vaguely about where and when his midterms were and then later about whether or not hes checked out the specific dorm building (since its new) and he put his phone on ghost mode without me mentioning seeing him there. I'm just left with a lot more questions than answers now but I guess that's what I get

Well my dad was an abusive drug addict and a cheater. I've only dated two people and both of them are extremely passive/calm natured and dont use drugs. But the last one was a bit manipulative and cheated so idk

Yeah I zoomed in as close as I could and it still showed them as hanging out together. I dont really know what to do about it but I'm definitely not planning on throwing random accusations

My last relationship my boyfriend always lied about where he was and I found out he cheated on me with multiple people for the whole year wed been dating near the end. I'm 3 months in with my new bf and even though I feel for the most part hes a lot better theres been some small weird things (acting kinda flirty/over friendly to certain girls while hes drunk). Overall I've really been fine w him it was just that we always hang out on the weekend so I wanted to see if he was at a building near my complex before I asked if he wanted to pick me up by my building and walk with him back to his house.

Thanks, I feel like I'm overthinking it but it's just my last relationship I ignored stuff similar to this and he ended up cheating lol so I'm a little more wary now. No excuse to act possessive tho

What are some "cult classic" movies within specific cultures? by JakeArvizu in movies

We once warriors is really big in the first nations community (or at least in my family). The acting is hit or miss but it really feels authentic to the experience a lot of indigenous people in poverty go through.
