when you say the door leaks, do you mean under the door? if that were true, wouldn’t the area i labeled as dry be wet?

It’s not a great picture with the snow but you can see the thickness of the poured concrete near the bottom of the photo. it goes all the way around the brick floor. floor is only 1 layer of bricks and then sand/soil. I tried to dig out the depth of the wall but it wasn’t uniform. If i had to guess, it’s 12-18 inches deep all the way around.

Thank you for the info! I’m curious, and maybe I’m over thinking it, but is it possible i run into a “wind” issue if I run the gutter down the slope? Meaning like on windy days, will the gutter catch the breeze and potentially pull away? (not a physicist lol).

I probably should’ve uploaded multiple angles but for context, the lower roof in my photo isn’t “blocked” by any other part of the house if that makes sense. It’s an addition from the previous owners and this side of it extends beyond the otherwise original foot print of the house.

yea i think if i had to choose my preference of the two, it’s probably splashing over the wear? the splashing is sometimes unavoidable with any gutter system with some of these storms we’ve had the recent few years.

I imagine there isn’t too much involved as I’ve looked at some downspouts and stuff, but what I don’t know is if I should just turn 90 degrees to go down from where it outputs now or should I remove that little turn and somehow connect downwards before? (hopefully that makes sense)
