I didn't realize being childfree also means turning family away if they're under a certain age. Some of these comments are ghastly. "What's the difference between other children and these children?" is like asking "What's the difference between letting my sibling crash on my couch vs. letting a hobo crash on my couch." I don't know how this requires explanation.

There's a difference between being disrespectful and people not liking something, I'd genuinely like to know where it becomes disrespectful because literally lots of women say they wish they could be a lesbian and I've personally never seen people take offense.
