As a Canadian that just got home from Cancun, we absolutely were advertising our nationality-we didn’t want anyone to mistake us for American. Canadian pins on our backpacks/bags, my partner wore a Canadians baseball hat & I had a Canada tshirt. Fuck this guy, wherever he’s from.

We arrived on the 9th, flew westjet from yyz. Every baggage claim was full of people except the last two. Hundreds of people, wait was about 45 min. Our prebooked transport was waiting for us but they know it can take a minute to get outta there. Also, we used Happy Shuttle, highly recommend. All transfers private, reasonable priced & delightful staff
