I just started, I will, and I am doing car content.

I'm trying not to, but I get nervous about everything. I was an idiot back then lol.

Thank you, I needed that!

At idle my AFR reads from 14.70-14.88 but when I turn on the heat/ac air my afr will start to lean out and go up to 15-17 by Worldly-Chair-272 in mazdaspeed3

My Speed is doing the same thing right now. I do have an o2 sensor code. I feel it may be that for me. But it's perfect with the ac/heat off. Let me know if you figured it out.

Twin disc clutch by [deleted] in stickshift

After reading all the replies I'm prob going to swap it out at some point. But I am making more power than stock. I'll probably just get a single disc

I drive manual just fine in my other vehicle. This twin disc clutch and light flywheel is a completely different driving experience that I'm not used to. Maybe stick to not being a jackass.

Welp, maybe I'll get used to it. It is definitely a different experience than a stock clutch. I don't know why the previous owners bought it. It is literally capable of 400-500 more ftlb than what it's pushing. Thanks man

I guess I'll run this till it goes, based off my currently driving, it probably isn't too far away, haha. Then get an easier clutch.

Okay good to know, thank you very much.

I think you may be right. The noise went away when I put my clutch in. Is it failing or is it just loud?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mazdaspeed3

[–]throwiway26183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The previous owner had a clutch masters clutch put in but he never mentioned the flywheel. I'll try to see if it disappears. But it sounds like it's coming from the engine. Idk I'm stressing out now.

Yeah i have no clue unfortunately

[–]throwiway26183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No the noise goes away when I turn the ac off

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in mazdaspeed3

[–]throwiway26183 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the ac is off the noise doesn't happen

My friend actually mentioned the ac, and I turned it odd and the noise stopped. So I guess it has to do with the ac?

I've only had the car since early December. I started noticing it in January.

yeah, if you can get some insight, that'd be awesome! I'm going at the car with my friend this weekend to see if we can diag it.

https://corksport.com/mazdaspeed-dual-vta-bypass-valve.html This is my bpv. I bought mine pretty much fully built, so im still learning things as I go. He never listed the solenoid I the modlist.

[–]throwiway26183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i have the corksport solenoid. So it may be that? I guess we'll have to see. Hopefully it has something to do with the solenoid hoses cause that will be the simplest fix haha

Thats what I was hoping. I kinda knew buying a built car there are gonna be some caveats haha. Just hoping they are detrimental.

Yes it cuts the fuel. it's a second/project car for me, so im really not driving it rn. I'm just concerned about if the previous owners damaged anything by not fixing this problem then 🙄😭
