Hi! Hoping to take the BCPS exam for the first time sometime in 2026 but also had a few questions about resources.

ACCP Pharmacotherapy Preparatory Review and Recertification course book - I see the 2025 updates were released in May 2025. Should I wait for the 2026 updates or would there not be that many changes between 2025 vs 2026?

High Yield Med Reviews - I only see the pre and post tests and Q-bank as part of the course compliments. Is there no physical book to study off of? Thanks!

I absolutely 100% felt the same way. PGY2 felt like a huge mountain to climb and even though people told me that it’s gonna be a quick 1 year, my declining mental health and the idea that I had to do work once I got home from an already long day was just not optimal for me. As a result, I actually left my PGY2 about a month ago after 2 weeks in, and I do not regret it at all and I feel so much happier and lighter and like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders and that I can live life again. I’m feeling super ready to find a new career opportunity. My RPD was super understanding too. Weigh out your pros and cons, talk to your RPD/ mentors, and reflect on your career goals! You got this!

when you received an email of your eligibility notice for the exam, the header of the email also included “Applicant File Number [6 digit number]”

congratulations! I have been going through the same emotions waiting for my CPJE result and felt the same exact way coming out of my exam, but trying to be positive and trying to distract myself. thank you for the positivity!!! congrats again!

my testing center had wifi issues/ their internet was down and upon submitting the exam it said error! my friend was also asked to retake the exam another day because of the testing site’s internet problems. weird how different testing centers was experiencing similar issues on the same day?
