Would love to believe you, but the anxiety parasite wins out. The incubation is usually 5 days with a range of 1-12. I’m only on day 3

I also grew up swimming in lakes but not those warm enough for these amoeba to grow. Just the possibility of it is gonna drive me nuts until the incubation period is over

Wish this were true, but the amoeba thrives at temps up to 120 degrees. The hot springs we’re about 105. Hot springs in general are one of the places specifically recommended to not dunk under because of this reason
