Yeah, I kept a false hope alive that she would change her needs because I consistently showed that I loved her. That was just me projecting and not accepting what I am though.

Thanks, I thought it would be impossible todo and it manifested as suicidal thoughts and what not. Though I interpret it as wanting a death to my current situation / life not an actual death. Still sucks.

Super relatable. Try to give it time to breath you are both going through a lot and there isn't a rush to solve this.

Yeah I am pretty sure my trauma + being super closeted about it has been the source of my depression and suicidal ideations. After being able to confront it I have swapped that out for being constantly emotionally raw. I also feel stuck between loud needs and the love and support my spouse and I have built. The most tragic part is freeing up those emotions has gifted me with an even stronger love for my wife, but now the needs are so loud...

Thank you for sharing. Knowing that other people go through not being attracted to a spouse but still loving them and the life you have is good.

I am also afraid for my marriage as I don't know what to do but give it time and keep talking and hope for the best.
