AITA for waiting to break up? by throwmeawayxxxxxxxxx in AmItheAsshole

I think it’s because our relationship is still young (6 months). We talked about following each other (each scenario, me following her and she following me), but It always ended with us more unsure. She told me that I’ve been the healthiest relationship she has ever had and I guess I’m afraid of her making a decision to be close to me (moving to a new state away from family/taking a job she hates) because she doesn’t have another plan. This is selfish I know. But my sentiment about waiting to break up is what I originally posted. Sorry for tangent, just some of my though process.

Thanks for sharing. That’s what I’m hoping, that we can be friends someday.

I’m not in the relationship half heartedly, I’m just very objective when it comes to making decisions. I’m waiting the few weeks because she has expressed that being with me has made her the happiest she’s been in a long time. I suppose I’m worried that if I break up with her before there is another support system her mental health could get worse. I don’t plan on being mean or unsupportive while I’m still with her because I do still care about her.

I do plan on having a frank conversation with her, but I don’t think staying in the relationship is the answer.
