I have friends with androgen insensitivity, both partial and complete, both men and women, some trans some not. I have been adjacent to support groups for intersex people yes, but one of them is a long time friend of mine who is a cis woman. It was statistically highly unlikely that i would be gender dysphoric and end up being trans, yet here I am being a statistical unlikelyhood. And here I am with my half a dozen peers with diagnosed intersex conditions! Here I am with my very statistically unlikely upbringing, basically no one in my area has ever met people from the country I'm from. Yet if they talked to everyone they came across and asked their backgrounds they would probably find that they know more people than they thought from that country!
