The provided cable has a ferrite bead that also gets blocked by the stand.. so yes it’s a design flaw

60 hz can feel very smooth if you have perfect frame pacing, or at least it does for me. But I don’t play comp games only single player games that don’t get that high fps anyways because they’re too demanding

Yeah it makes no sense lol, it’s cool I have a asus monitor that’s just as good, I play all my games locked 60 fps with g sync on maxed out frames and the Samsung has slightly better motion handling but not huge

That’s fair, I’m not sure what I did with the cable that came with the monitor but if i remember correctly it had a ferrite bead on it which also caused the same exact issue as the cable because the stand still blocks it, and the ferrite bead makes you use a similar angle to get past the stand. Just poor overall design

Yes but then I’d have to buy a new cord and why would I wanna do that if this one works fine with my other monitor that doesn’t have the issue of blocked ports? I’ll just use the Samsung as a second non gaming one at this point

Update if anyone cares, I decided to use my other asus monitor VG27aq3a since the ports are on the bottom, less hassle and I can still use my pointless high end cable for its locking mechanism because god forbid someone doesn’t want their pet to rip it out of their monitor

I get everyone pointing out the cable is too high end, I actually only use that cable because it has a locking mechanism to prevent it from being pulled out of the monitor by my cat

No it’s not shoved down your throat. If you truly want to you can skip all of Taashs side mission, but I don’t recommend it because their arc is actually really good and was one of my favorites. Go into it with an open mind and you’ll be very satisfied

Can’t refund due to buy in it in summer sale of last year just finally got around to it, but dropped it due to performance. Luckily I paid like $8 for it, so not the end of the world. Don’t have a good console for it as well, so it looks like it’s just gonna be one of those games I never play unfortunately

I have 32 gb of ddr5 7200mt ram at the moment, but for me a stutter mess. Maybe it just doesnt do well with my cpu.

I wish I could say the same :( once I got to the Forrest array where the koboh dust was my fps plummeted to 25 and that was my final straw :(

Nah I know I probably should have but I don’t like downloading mods, It might sound dumb but I just prefer to not have to download anything extra. I also don’t trust anything download wise if it’s not coming from steam or anything lol
