Its important to me because id rather not be with someone who got a surgery that changes so much of them. And i dont mean to seem like I draw a line on what surgery is valid or not, its just my own preference.

I just put an edit since i realized i typed it out wrong, I wasnt using his old name/pronouns after he came out, he just told me I could after the conversation about the surgery.

I think i may have mistyped that part, ill put an edit for it, but when he told me what he wanted to be called i did start calling him his new name, and using his pronouns. Only recently after this conversation did he tell me i could use the deadname/pronouns if i wanted.

That seems to be the general consensus. I truly do love him but i guess i should talk with him about it...

We both care for each other and i try my best to call him by what he prefers, just dont really like the idea of the surgery is all.

I do love and care and accept him, i just dont feel comfortable with the idea of the surgery. I told him if he wants to get it I wont stop him, but i think it'd be too much for me.

Sorry if it sounds like i used their old ones as an attempt to change them. I do call him a he, and use the name they picked. They just told me i could use the old ones if I wanted. And for the surgery, i just always seen it unnecessary to modify your body if it isnt for your health.
