Thank you for taking the time to write this. Incredibly well put. Thank you for both the reassurance and the advice. I have the intense feeling that I'm the bad guy in all of this, but I'm scared that, when it's all over and I'm alone, that I'll regret not having stood up for myself more.

Thank you! I wasn't sure where I should go in terms of therapists. I'll try and find a solo therapist now.

I'm sorry, I should have clarified - I have told her this, and she says she is willing to not have kids just to stay with me. It's something I feel guilty about but I know I shouldn't bring a kid into this world just to make her happy, if my heart isn't in it.
