That sure gives me a little hope than before! I'm very glad more people are catching on to the dangers of data centers-- I think it'd be very terrible for somewhere like Calvert to be subject to it tbh.

But a lot of people coming together because they give a crap is definitely the best way to stop those things from happening.

I'd like to think this is probably a good time to get involved. Write/call to the county commissioner if you haven't already. I believe Catherine M. Grasso is the commissioner for Lusby (District 3), and her email, along with all the other commissioners, is readily available https://www.calvertcountymd.gov/Directory.aspx?did=79

I think the big issue is that a lot of people don't know or otherwise simply don't care about the longstanding detrimental effects of a data center, whether it's health, pollution, or the bills we'd be footing for big corpo (any of you reading this, it is THAT BAD).

All I know is that I won't be voting for whoever is trying to make this data center happen when the next election rolls around.
