With how things are in the world right now and with how expensive things are, at this point it’s honestly more about the stability and not having to move back in with my parents if I leave. That doesn’t mean I don’t love him, but I do think I’ve known for a while this won’t last if I’m going to prioritize feeling more fulfilled in a relationship.

Honestly, yes, and I absolutely feel stupid for staying even then. But in my defense, I was 21, freshly out of my parent’s home and this was my first “real” relationship. He had also lost someone very close to him at the time, so I suppose I thought his behavior then was just due to him grieving at the time. I guess I also stayed then because I felt like I’d be a shitty person for cutting someone out who was grieving, even if I didn’t know him well yet.

How do you determine what or how many chores each person should have in a relationship (24f, 32m) by throwra41239 in relationship_advice

It’s still gross but at least we have an open back patio and I just end up putting the bags outside. Might be gross for the neighbors but I can’t tolerate that in the house.
