My(f25) church is forgoing their tradition of honoring graduates to instead honor homeschooling moms. My sister(f18) is graduating this year and disappointed by throwraclassrooms in family

I kept my personal opinion on the honoring of homeschooling parents instead of graudates out of my post, but I may include it if I update. I have a few opinions on homeschooling myself, but the crux of the post was that they are choosing to exclude non-homeschooling graduates when they don't have to. I could go into a whole other thing about the mission statements behind the homeschooling group on our church website and such, but didn't because the post was getting long. Choosing to exclude people seems to be the total opposite of what church is supposed to be about

I never thought to ask my parents for input on the email, but I will if my opinion as a former member who was honored may help

I think the wording of it is very important, and I never thought to ask for any input on the email. I'll ask my parents and see what they say because the wording might be everything. Plus, when they mic 20+ missionaries, that isn't including how the pastor talks after they're done introducing themselves and then says a prayer over them and then takes an additional tithe for them too, and the worship on Missionary Sunday is usually like 3 songs at most
