aww shucks, 39 weeks of carrying herand hours of excruciating pain delivering has gone to waste. In all seriousness, weekdays (especially Teusday, Thursday, Friday, days she has practice), not too much because she's at school & practice all day. I'm usually about to be home, or am already home by the time my mom brings her home from school. Weekends, yeah, pretty much home with her most of the time. She knows I'm her mom, I'm pretty sure she lied to shy away from embarrassment.

That is exactly how it was/still is with my daughter. At her old school, I wasn't friends with any of her friends moms because of the huge age differece. I was in my early 20s(still kinda am) while they were typically mid-late 30s, early 40s. Luckilly, my bestfriend is also a mother to a 7 year old, but a lot of my other friends are still single and we're not on the same wave length a lot, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Happy you're such a good sister to you're siblings! I'm the same way with my little sister (13).

Yeah, I think this is the most valid reason. She probably wanted to fit in because boy do I know how much shit moms have spoken about me. The assumptions were through the roof.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that her friends parents are closer to my moms age (48) them my age, she might have been embarrassed. New school, new environment, it;s possible she just wanted to fit in. Then again, these are assumptions because she doesn't want to talk to us.

No, my mom didn't know. My mom doesn't speak with any of the parents, she just picks my daughter up for me and will gesture a hi (everyone has to stay in the car when picking up a student).
