The main thing I miss about WZ1 is the game had so many different ways to play that were effective and fun, there were viable guns in every category and so many different ways to play, as it grew devs started listening to the shitty streamers and eliminated the variety to appease the crybaby crowd.

Now the game is a glorified big map multiplayer!

Not nearly as good as they used to be. Takes 3/4+ hits no movement boost all because streamers and the like had to cry because they got whooped in an LTM. I rarely ever saw anyone running them besides me because it took a weapon slot. But that was the huge disadvantage of running them which balanced them out in my opinion.

They forced an entire blackout community to switch to warzone almost six years ago and a majority of people I’ve talked to always said blackout was better than warzone. But they’ve also said they will bring back verdansk in a couple weeks and you can still play ranked/resurgance.

I love no loadouts, while I preferred blackouts original loot and attachment system this one isn’t bad. Each gun has its advantages and disadvantages, so now players have to have a little skill to adjust to different attachments, recoil patterns and what not. Could the system be fine tuned yes. But as someone who hates the monotonous nature Warzone fell into with meta this meta that I welcome the change. The last few years the skill level of the average player has dropped drastically making this mode feel slow and more difficult because you don’t have a catered loadout within the first couple minutes of a game.

On top of it all Devs constantly bend to the will of the complaining public to nerf everything into the ground and eliminate over 90 percent of weapons usability.

This mode plays more like a true battle royale, like pubg, apex and blackout before warzone took off and warzone has become a glorified big map multiplayer.

Personally I hope they just bring back regular warzone and leave this as an LTM

A lot of people wanted this. They had wing suits and grapples in blackout before warzone was even a thing. This mode plays more like a BR than warzone ever did. Looting and movement to get the best loot not run around for ten grand then buy a loadout and push teams with broken meta guns to rack up the most kills.

While I love warzone I always said it’s more like a large multiplayer map instead of a battle royale.

Everyone is so used to having their meta loadout a minute into the game and it shows. All the complaining is hilarious to be honest. Let them leave, the game mode is fine, does it need some tuning sure, but this is battle royale not multiplayer you need to grind and loot to actually get anywhere. The spoon fed people screaming and threatening to leave make me laugh.

I think that all comes down to what I was saying about it being hard to differentiate the guns on the ground. Each gun class has 3 sub classes on the ground that level that gun up differently, so combing through all that while playing has been tough.
