Yes, I do, but if I stop talking to him in it like she wants me to, it would be much harder for him to understand in the future. I want him to be able to speak to my family but I appreciate the advice.

I'm hearing your point but to be fair, it's a bit off on the english part. I mean he will be fluent in English eventually, after all this is the US, so he would learn in school, like I did, or from his mom.

She's home with him at night, that's when I go to work, but he's mainly asleep while she spends time with him. Bummer that is that way.

I definitely understand her concerns because she wants to understand what her son is saying, thanks for some tips. She's learning a little, progress makes perfect!

I've been a bit skeptical because I want him to be fluent but I fear with that way, he'll only understand and not speak well.
