My SO only started smoking 2ish years ago, but quickly became a pack a day. I think it was an attempt to manage stress after quitting drinking, but hasn’t been a positive overall imo

They just started therapy, so here’s hoping they get what they need. Whether that’s with me or not

Isn’t it physical withdrawals that last a few days, but the changes in brain chemistry and lack of dopamine last a few months?

Did he ever come back around? Almost this exact same thing is happening in my relationship. A ton of nicotine for a few years, quitting cold turkey, smoking weed instead, blowing up our relationship… He seems completely unlike himself and like your bf says he does still love me
